ssd on win 7 32bit and 64bit

i have win 7 32bit on my ssd now...
how to update or upgrade to 64bit the right way?
i youtubed and goggle ... no clear way...

you cannot upgrade 32->64bit this way.
you have to use custom installation option for win7 installation(which is actually a clean installation)

both 32bit and 64bit have totally different systems file and cannot be replaced directly.

reason: i don't know, but i believe theoretically it should be possible but window doesn't have this option

so meaning i have to boot from cd from start up?
or in windows?

1. You Need a Windows 7 64 bit installer disc
2. You need to do a fresh install.
   1. Don't forget to back up all your files. Of course, doing a fresh install means you need to reinstall all other programs as well.

I believe the installer might allow you do either boot from CD drive or boot into windows first, but either way the end result is the same: a fresh/clean install.

If during the installation process, you did not repartition your storage drive, the installer will move the previous version of Windows into a windows.old folder. (although you can find the files and folders from the previous installation, take note that you still have to reinstall all other programs like your MS office games etc.)

anyone knows if there a diff loading time on the 32bit and the 64bit windows?
coz its seems longer on my 64bit windows.. please help..
