The demand is weak for NAND and RAM for now. High end phone and mining GPU demands are on soft ground now due to outrageous prices.

I think 960 to 970 would seem a miniscule upgrade at best.

Even a 850 evo/pro compared to a 960 evo/pro has not much noticeable performance in real world usage such as games and boot times unless doing rendering work or copying pasting

Even me moving from 850 Pro to 960 Evo M2 no real life difference. Bootup seem slightly faster but benchmarks are through the roof with M2 960 Evo. If number crunching is your game, then the 970 is worth the upgrade otherwise it's only for bragging rights.

just bought 1xsamsung 970 evo from clickasia on Qoo10 for
309 - 30 (cart coupon) - 6(gift card discount) - 5(points) = 268 dollars
and also free redemption of 50 dollars dairy farm voucher

Have you went to redeem the $50 dairy farm voucher? Is it just bring along the receipt for redemption and do you know what are their opening hours? I asked Click Asia in Qoo10 but their reply wasn't very helpful.

Need to bring original invoice, original packaging (they need to check the EA sticker and a cutout of the model number, capacity, and serial number/barcode), and NRIC of person redeeming. Note only max 2 redemptions per NRIC.

They don't really care if the invoice name matches the NRIC, as they based the redemption from NRIC of the person present to do the claiming. So no point bringing in 2 NRICs as it won't work. Basically each NRIC can be used to claim max 2 redemptions. So bring your friend along if u are claiming more than 2.

Invoice must show the validity date between Apr 26-May 2. If it shows delivery date (e.g. online order) you must show proof of order date via your online e-commerce app such as Lazada or Qoo10.

So, if you are planning to buy the 970 Evo SSDs after May 2 but before the redemption date ends, sorry they will reject your redemption claim even if seller says no problem can still claim etc.

Verified from the Redemption Centre. Opens at 11.30am.

Great advice bro. The seller also replied need to bring original packaging but never mention opening hours of the redemption centre. Intend to go this Fri afternoon for redemption.
