I was testing on my iMac retina and it is awesome!
Wanted to install bootcamp to play PC games but now no need :)

Anyone else testing this?

how does it works?

Steam In-Home Streaming

You'll still need a PC running Steam to do this, the iMac will just be a remote machine but it looks like you're running steam on the iMac itself. I foresee you'll need a high-end hardware for both host and client device plus a very stable network setup, i don't think wifi will be ideal for such.

actually Mac do have Steam available but restricted to mac compatible games only.

actually I was surprised at how good the experience was, considering I was really disappointed with my previous nVidia Shield Tablet and it's streaming.

My host is my MSI GS70 running i7, 16Gb memory and nVidia 765M.
Client is my new iMac Retina i5, 16Gb and M290X.

Using Aztech 5ghz power plug wifi thingy, and the streaming is really good!
