Steven Lim, 48, reveals new content creator girlfriend on Instagram 6 weeks after breakup announcement

Former "Singapore Idol" contestant Steven Lim hard launched his new girlfriend, who goes by the online pseudonym, Lihui, in a Jun. 21 Instagram post.
In the post, Lim introduced Lihui as an "established content creator and live streamer" who garnered 42,000 followers on Instagram as of Saturday.
According to Lihui's Instagram page, her content revolved around themes such as food, lifestyle, travel, and self-care.
Lim's latest announcement came six weeks after he revealed in a May 10 Instagram post that he had broken up with his ex-girlfriend, whom he had been dating for around a year.
Without revealing his ex-girlfriend's face, Lim said she "genuinely looks very much like a famous Taiwanese super Mandarin pop singer" and that she messaged him around a year ago to apply to become his girlfriend.
Although he was "very heartbroken", Lim shared that he had begun searching for a new girlfriend after the breakup because he will be turning 49 years old and does not have much time left.
Been dating Lihui for 6 weeks
According to Lim, he and Lihui have been dating for six weeks as of Jun. 21.
Just like his ex-girlfriend, Lihui made the first move by messaging him privately and applying to be his girlfriend around six weeks ago, wrote Lim.
Lim added that he was "super honoured" by Lihui's gesture and thanked his followers for their kind blessings.
Launched couple TikTok channel
Besides making their relationship Instagram official, Lim also announced that he and Lihui had launched a couple channel, named "Sarah & Steven," on TikTok.He invited his followers to subscribe to the channel to keep up with "important updates" and new posts.
As of 6:30pm on Jun. 25, the couple's channel had garnered 929 followers and 2,895 likes.
There was only one video listed on the channel, which showed Lim dancing to the Chinese song "Blueprint Supreme (大展宏图)."
He then kissed Lihui, who sat next to him throughout the video.
