Hi, my daugther is in Sec 3 next year. She uses laptop pretty lightly. Mainly some youtube, light gaming like Roblux, Genshin Impact

Does this specs work? The price point seems reasonable. She is not a hard core laptop user.

RAMS are very cheap now.

Much cheaper to DIY to 16 GB or 32 GB.

SSDs are also very cheap.

Sellers will charge a big premium if you choose a bigger RAM or SSD.

I have this a few years ago. Value for money. I'd say go for it.

AMD is more energy efficient but Intel is faster.

There is a big gap in price and performance for the graphic card. For $1.2k+, if I were you I would grab it already. Just that I bought another laptop earlier this year...

Does your daugther need to carry the laptop around or use only at home? Do take note this is 2.7kg gaming laptop is heavy.
