I went back to school at the age of 30 because the company that i join said that I don't have the certificate and cannot pay me what i requested. I proof them wrong by joining them, studied part time, and then left for another company that pay me much higher than what i initially wanted from the company who use my cert as an excuse.

The push factor was that nudge by the company, and i actually want to thank them becos the knowledge live with me for the rest of my life.

woo.. how you managed your time ?
Now I'm 32 and I felt sleepy when attending class.

I am looking for suggestion or maybe just support from you guys.
I am seriously considering doing private business diploma at PSB or similar institute. I am at my mid 30s and working as regional role withdrawing close to 5 figure.

I have no qualification at all. probably why I am going back to study is because I felt something is missing in my life and I need to accomplish it. 2nd reason is to be the top 5% MNC management I believe I will need the cert. dip or deg.

young or old, I value your opinion. :)

Well I don't know if this is going to be helpful for you, but it makes a lot of sense to me. Don't let our competitive society dictate your life/values. Be realistic but you know yourself best.

"Someone Graduated At the age of 22 but he may take 5 years before getting rightly placed. Someone Graduated at the age of 27 and get the dream job Immediately. Someone become a CEO at the age of 25 and he may not be alive at the age of 50. While another become a CEO at the age of 50 and lived to 90 years. Each and Every Person working on their own “TIME ZONES” Someone is still single, while someone else got married early. Some wait for their first child for 10 years while some one get first child within a year.

YOU ARE UNIQUE. DO NOT COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS..

Obama retired at 55, But Trump starts at 70.
So, everyone in this world works based On their own “ TIME ZONES”
People might get ahead of you, some might behind you.
But Everyone is running their own RACE, in their own TIME. Don’t envy them or mock them, as they are in their TIME ZONES, and you are in yours. LIFE is about waiting for the right moment to act So, RELAX. You are neither late nor early. Hold on, be strong, and stay tune to yourself, all things shall work together for your own good…"

- Credits to someone who didn't want to take credits for he/she is working in their own timezone

Anyway, check your impetus for going back to study. Will you regret not doing it?

You will hear this alot from people who experienced PT studies and FT work. Get ready to miss out on social gathering with your friends, spend your weekend studying and rushing for assignment and even taking leave from work to do your assignment and study for exam.

Its all about reorganising your priorities. There are alot of times which i almost feel asleep in class, but for me i guess i self sponsored for the course which i feel the pain to let it to waste that forces me to stay alert and study regardless what it take.

Don’t bother if you are already doing well in your career. At your stage perhaps networking would be more important.

But if you feel a degree will help you get into top management, I suggest Executive MBA at Insead. That would give you pedigree, knowledge and network. But I don’t know if they will accept you if - as you said - you have no education.

Need connections then got opportunities
