Suggestion for new rig

My PC of 7/8 years is gonna uplorry.

Can probably reuse the PSU, optical drive, mech kb and HDD

Mainly use it to watch videos, media, internet(multi tabs) and occasional gaming (best if it can handle some future games). GTX GPU? Water cooling?
Ability to support multiple display via HDMI and 7.1 channel would be ideal.

Should I do a ssd hybrid with my old 500gb hdd?
Looking at win10, touchscreen monitor or curved display

Any suggestion for a diy rig or prebuilt by mainstream firms like Dell?

A modern comp should always have a SSD. Suggest you get a new WD 1TB HDD and use the existing one for backup.

You might want to specify a budget if you expect specific recommendations for parts.

still exploring various options, for a start how about 1k (stretchable) excluding peripherals like monitor etc..
