Suggestion on PC rig specs

Hi all, im currently getting parts to build a new PC rig. Been using Aftershock laptop but feel like its time for an upgrade.
So this is my first time doing up a PC rig to build on my own

Would like suggestion if the specs i have below are good enough.
Computer will be mainly for gaming purposes, with minor work stuffs to be done on it.


CASE: NZXT H500
MOBO + CPU: ASROCK Pro 4 z370, i5 8600k
RAM: Corsair Vengence RGB RAM: 2x8gb 3200hz CL6
COOLER: Coolermaster H100i Liquid Cooler
HDD: 2x WD 1tb 3.5 HDD (reusing from previous pc)
SSD: *Awaiting black friday deals/cyber monday*
PSU: * Need help in choosing PSU*
GPU: ASUS 1070ti Cerberus 8gb DDR5

Hi, I'm no expert but I suggest you go for tier 1 PSU. The most recommended I have seen is Superflower Leadex ll, 650w for $128, and 750w for $148 from Tradepac. Having a good CPU is super important, so make sure to get at least a tier 2 to go with your suggested build. You can google tier 1 PSU to find out more brands.

As for SSD, there are quite a few good deals on Newegg (w/ free shipping).

Ditch the k series cpu if you dont plan on overclocking. Has no benefit over a non-k processor. For that pricepoint u might as well get a 2600 or 2600x

for the GPU, instead of that Asus 1070ti, go for RTX 2070 (brands other than Asus - overpriced). The price difference is small and you get more from 2070.
