May I know is the Suica card enough for all public transportation not covered by the JR pass within Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto? If I'm going to use the buses in Kyoto frequently, is it better to get the Kyoto bus 1 day pass or sightseeing pass instead?

1 day bus pass is useful for kyoto coz 3 bus trips already more than the price of the pass. Other than tt, suica shld cover all other transports coz u will be take train mostly

Yeah I'm thinking Suica should cover all the subway and train transport in Tokyo and Osaka. But getting the bus pass might be more worth it for Kyoto if I'm going to visit 3 to 4 places in a day.

Well - yes. Suica is usable in main island Japan. Not for Okinawa and Hokkaido.
