Hi !
For some months, my refillable cartridge died on me. Previously, it lasted many months.
I spoke to a sales person and he says that the chip on the cartridge could be sensitive to power spikes. My printer is connected to a power extension which quite a number of items are connected. Some are chargers, TV, telephone, routers, modem, etc which I do power off at the power extension.
So could it be due to my power extension usage that cause the cartridge to die ?
If so, does it help if I get a power extension with power surge protection ? The devices are on the socket, does the power surge protection only protect incoming power surge/spikes ? What about those noise created by switching off devices with coils and capacitors ?
Thanks a lot in advance for your advice.
