Suspended ?

Curious. I remember last night I saw someone's title became "suspended" instead of the usual "banned" or "junior member" etc.

Interesting. What does it reflects ?

Okay, I'm not privy to why the said member was suspended or banned but I shall clarify why the status is such.

For banned members, obviously it's due to infractions. Suspension usually occurs when a member is found to have used the forum as a platform to further his/her own financial benefits.

Of course, it could also happen for other situations but only the most special of circumstances. Just to be clear, no moderator can suspend an account. I'll leave it the admins to clarify any further, at their own discretion.

We usually suspend a member because a report (usually for soliciting) was made and we need to make an investigation on it.

We rarely use this method because most of the soliciting spams were caught earlier.
