Just received an offer from SUSS!

Hope everyone won’t give up. I was rejected last year and I appealed but still rejected.

This year I applied again and I was rejected too but only got shortlisted for interview on 11th May.

How about you ask the employers in the marketplace on why they prefer graduates with ft logistics /SCM degree from Kaplan/PSB than suss? Even I don’t have an answer anyway I’m being very specific to scm only

I am currently on the reserve list. Does this mean I will only know if I am rejected/accepted in Mid-June period? I am also not optimistic that I will be accepted... thus am planning to apply for part-time. If I were to apply for a SUSS part-time degree programme for Jan 2020 intake now, will this remove me from the waiting list? Or should I wait till I get a rejection/offer in june period before proceeding?

Edit: Got another offer from another university. If I accepted the offer, will this remove me from SUSS’s waitlist?

I'm not too sure about this. But from what I know, they haven't been affected by the overall "strict marking" period since SUSS became a fully fledged AU.

Perhaps it has begun for them now.

Does anyone know how the grading system for SUSS works for resit?

Do yall know how the grading system works for resit / failure of paper?

Like eg if i fail my paper or did not attend the final paper and I qualify for the resit, will my GPA be affected? or will the final grade be taken in the event that I get an A for the resit?

Your cGPA accumulates. That 0.0 stays with you, and whatever new grade you get is also added to your cGPA. That's why if you don't have confidence for the final paper, some professors will encourage you to withdraw, and to re-sit the paper in the next semester. This is because withdrawing does not affect your GPA or give you a grade. However, the W grade will be shown on your final transcript.
