I would like to sync contacts in my i4s to a new Gmail account that I just signed up for this purpose (which means it is not my main gmail account).

I followed the steps here:
Set Up CardDAV On iPhone To Sync Google / Gmail Contacts Without Exchange | Redmond Pie

But, my contacts are not sync-ing over to the gmail account.

I have tried setting this CardDAV contact as Default contact, doesn't work. Let my iCloud remain as Default contact, also doesn't work.

Currently, there are only 4 contacts in that gmail account, which appeared after I clicked on the "Import SIM Contacts" then select this CardDAV contacts.

What do I miss out here?

Syncing iphone contact and google does not upload iphone contacts to google. Only new contact created (assuming google is default) will be saved in google contact. Just export iphone contact to google.

Oh I see.....

I exported using MC Backup app, into CSV then import into that Google account, but all the contacts imported are unrecognizeable, all the First Name, Second Name are put into the extra column. Sianz

I just signed up for PhoneCopy service, free, looks good enough for me, though I would still want to use sync.
