Taichung/ Taoyuan

Hi, need some hotel recommendations in taichung and taoyuan.

Taichung stays which area would be better? ie, near station or near FJ market?

Taoyuan would prefer around zhongli station.

was only in taichung for a day. stayed near the station and cab to and from FJ back where i stayed.

stayed in cityinn.

Last I checked, Singapore's cab fares are pretty much comparable to Taiwan's.
As for Indonesia... well if you can compare Taiwan to Indonesia, I wanna know what tobacco you are smoking :s13:

stay near fj market lo, i recommend the orange hotel, its not too shabby,
my near is can walk or cab one.

was in tw for a year.

Just wondering... what is the highlight of Fengjia Market?
I visited last year but didn't really find it any different from other night markets in Kaohsiung or Taipei. It was quite large, but nothing really stood out for me.

it is actually called fengjia and why its a hot spot cause i guess biggest in taichung, somemore fengjia uni is just within the area, it spans quite a big area from the physical shops to the back alley to the bigger open area with night-market style stores.

alright, why isit famous. i believe is for the da chang bao xiao chang, glutinous rice wrapped over taiwan sausage with condiments.

it is considered the top 3 night markets anw, well, the food there is to kill for. just look at the q for the dcbxc* and u will know.

Yes I did try the dcbxc though I didn't find it "to kill for". Guess I'm not such a foodie.
