Not very long..5-15mins?

Definitely more crowd but most would be starting from Nagano instead of Toyama imho..

Do you guys think it will be too tiring if I stay 1 night each in Kanazawa and Toyama something like this

Day 1 - 10.25am Arr Kanazawa from Kyoto
- Check in hotel
- Kenrokuen Garden
- Omicho Market
- Higashi Chaya and Kazuemachi Chaya Area

Day 2
- Check out early morning and deposit luggages at Kanazawa Stn.
- Shirakawa-go for half a day
- Return to Kanazawa Stn around noon.
- Kanazawa > Toyama late noon and stay there for the night

Day 3
- Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route
- Nagano > Tokyo

Looks okay to me. I went to Alpine Route late April, just when the snow wall was up and all zones were open. Quite crowded - lots of Chinese tour groups, had to wait at least 30 min for some of the transportation modes. Watch out for swinging selfie sticks by foreign tourists - I hated this as they didn’t bother to check if other visitors were walking past them. Some of the staff had to suffer verbal abuse from tourists too.

Mine was different due to the sakura season, Takayama > Shirakawago > Kanazawa > Wakura Onsen > Omaki Onsen > Namerikawa > Alpine Route.

Yeah. Its kind of tough choice because there is nothing much in Toyama city itself.

I would go directly to Takayama and spend 1 more night in Osaka. Why dont u go to Kanazawa via Shirakawago, can save at least a few hours.

Toyama is more of a transfer hub, got nth much aside from the very chio design starbucks store at Fugan Canal Kansui Park.

If you like Doraemon, Takaoka city for some related stuff, i went to this Takaoka Otoginomori Park, quite a long 15 mins walk from Shin-Takaoka Station but i think quite worth it cause it is super cute.

Option 1
2 days Kanazawa , 1 day Toyama
Day 1 - Explore Kanazawa itself
Day 2 - Day trip to Shirakawa-go
After that proceed to Toyama and stay for 1 night.
Day 3 - Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route

Option 2
3 days in Toyama
Day 1 - Day trip to Kanazawa
Day 2 - Day trip to Shirakawa-go
Day 3 - Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route

So you think I should go with option 2 instead?

I would option 2 cos Kanazawa is near Toyama, also i dont like to move here and there especially when they are both so near each other...

So i move one time to Toyama and stay there and depart on the 3rd day for alpine route..
