We are looking for Computing Professionals/Translators our Computing Project!
Language Pair:
1. Chinese to English
Job Scope:
- Translate IT Cloud technical documents and UI strings.
- Work together with authors and editors to ensure content accuracy, clarity, and quality.
- Ensure content adheres to specific style guidelines.
- Ensure documentation meets publishing deadlines.
- May also include translation for non-technical content, such as marketing and pre-sales materials.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferred majors: Computing, IT, Language, Engineering, Computer Science
- Familiar with Cloud Technology/ Computing & its technical terminologies
- Able to communicate with both authors in Chinese and editors in English.
- Experience in the technology industry is desirable but not essential.
- Previous translating experience is desirable but not essential.
- all nationalities are welcome as long as you know both English & Chinese.
- Knowledge of SDL Trados/ CAT tools preferred but not essential as training will be provided
- Punctual, responsible and reliable.
- 3 months Full Time Contract position and may be further extended.
