Tempered glass shower screen w door vs fixed panel

Thinking of installing shower screen to separate wet n dry bathroom area. Prefer to have the one piece fixed panel (WITHOUT DOOR) for easy access and no need to maintain or clean the sliding /swing door mechanism.

Any existing homeowners who have this at home? Do you experience alot of water splashing out without a door? Any other pros and cons for a fixed panel vs a fully enclosed shower screen?

better to post a pic for a better reply. Toilets are small these days. Any shower screen will result in a very cramp toilet.

Google images... HDB toilet. Can see nany reno ideas and similar layouts and whether is cramp or not.

I had the same dilemma. In the end went with shower door but the swing open/close type.

Based on location of shower, chances are if your single panel blocks half the shower stall length, the water WILL splash out no matter how careful you are.

Unless you ask your contractor to make the panel cover 3/4 of the shower stall's length. Problem with this is if touchwood (must plan for everything mah) you or someone in the family ends up in wheelchair (choy!) the shower wheelchair will have difficulty moving into the shower stall.

For this same reason I decided not to get sliding shower door.
