Temple visit in bkk.

Hi guys, I’ll be going bkk this end month. I would like to ask any temple within bkk or outskirt of Bangkok you all would recommend. I would like to bring my parent to go temple visit.

There are many temples in bkk and outskirt of bkk. For famous temples in bkk are grand palace, wat pho and wat arun.

You can go to Wat Hua Lamphong or Hua Lamphong Temple.
Is very easy to go for tourist.
Beside this temple there is also another chinese temple. Which you can make coffin donation for the poor.

To go there, you can take the MRT, get off at Sam Yan Station, and take exit 1. You will see the temple there.

Wat Hua Lumphong is not at yaowarat although the MRT station is called HUA LUMPHONG, its one more station away called SAM YAN MRT STATION.

MRT in Bangkok is indeed called MRT. BRT is somehow like a bus system with deicated bus lanes. Another system to go SIAM area is their BTS.

In Taiwan, they don't call it MRT, it's call metro in Chinese 捷運.
In BKK, they call it MRT or BTS.
In China, of cos nobody understand MRT, cos they don't know what you all talking lol.

To go yaowarat, you have to cross chao phraya river. MRT line do not cross the river on that area, MRT line cross the river on the far north of BKK.

hmmm ... i wonder why nobody mention erawan shrine

lesser known is erawan museum, while more of a museum than temple, it's architecture & interior decor are very beautiful

i think 30~40mins walk from yaowarat to wat hualaphong
