tbh, led kb but turn off led (or dim led) - i find the letters very low contrast, not very comfy to my eyes...

ya that is true also, but honestly led is useless imo, its not like u will look down constantly when u type:s13::s13:

yah, but with normal use will still sometimes glance at keys - even a few times, tat low contrast is off putting
switch back to non led kb after 2-3 days (with a few other reasons)

Hey guys, guess what. My Filco seems to be working again. Haven't had a stuck A key for 2 days now.

Looks like I won't have to spend the 300 bucks I budgeted for the Keyboard

grats on the repaired kb. if not, ducky one PBT keycap?
Ah, this Filco is the Ninja version. It comes without keys printed on top so there's no fading.

I did some cleaning just in case too, taking out all they keys, using compressed air adn cotton tip buds.

Some Leopolds seem much higher priced. Like twice that of a Filco. But they have topre switches which I find more comfortable than the usual mechanical ones....

I'm using Leopold FC980 Topre keyboard. Price is at a premium but its my end game keyboard.
Comes with keypad in a tenkeyless form factor. Highly recommended. This replaced my realforce 87u 55g. Very satisfied.

O ring cannot cure that. They only help to dampen the bottoming out sound. The only way is to change the switch. Try browns

Or scissor switch
