100 years old is impressive. Actually it can be designated a historical place of interest in other nations like Japan.

Too bad pap won't give a crap if it's part of national history or not. Just look at the number of historical sites like National Stadium, National Library, National Theater that they have torn down - all far less than 100 years.
PAP is very selective in writing history; take for examples local veterans who fought for Singapore are not recognized or selectively recognized while mata mata are recognised for its 200 years of policing work

You see the irony ?

Life in PU is so diffferent from mainland. No wonder some elderly who stay there since young refuse to move to mainland. PU is a nice place, unlike mainland which is a concrete jungle.

according to uncle teck, there's probably 7 vans left there

nparks hire one perm for their works and surveys.... the family takes up half the fleet, he says still can get by lah
So COE is not applicable there and I suppose these folks can do basic auto repairs etc.
