Capt Ibrahim Traore uncovers the hard truths about Africa:

“As African Muslims, we have to be honest with ourselves, we talk a lot about Trans Atlantic Slave Trade but we often ignore the ARABE Slave Trade which lasted for more than 1000 years.

Do you know why you see Black people in Europe and Caribbean countries but you cants find them in Arabian countries despite the fact that they took millions into slavery …..? That’s because Millions of Black Slaves were CASTRATED, that’s why they couldn’t reproduce.

So, if we’re talking about slavery, lets us remember our Black Muslim Brothers who worship the Arabs as superior beings”

The Arab slave trade trafficked over 20 million Africans into the Middle East.

But today, there are hardly any Black populations in some of those countries.

And it is not because they returned home.

No. The reason is far darker than you imagine.

The first thing Arabs did when they captured enslaved African men was castrate them.

Their testicles were crushed between rocks.

Sometimes the penis was cut as well.

Thousands died from the procedure.

This ensured that these men could never father children with enslaved women.

It also meant they could never have children with their own women.

They were stripped of their ability to reproduce, denied the chance to build families, and worked to death.

Arab slave trade figures:

Sub-Saharan Africans: 10–18 million (7th–20th c.; ~12.6M for 800–1900 per Lovejoy: ~7.3M trans-Saharan from West/Central Africa, ~2.4M Red Sea from Ethiopia/Sudan/Horn, ~2.9M East Africa/Indian Ocean from Swahili coast/Zanzibar region).

Europeans (Barbary corsairs): 1–1.25 million (16th–early 19th c.; mainly Italians, Spaniards, French, Greeks, British, Irish, Icelanders).

Caucasians/Circassians/Georgians and related (incl. Crimean/Black Sea flows): several million cumulative (esp. 15th–19th c.; Circassians highly valued; ~2–2.5M from Slavic/Eastern European sources via Crimea 1450–1700; tens of thousands annually in 19th-c. peaks).

Saqaliba (Slavs): thousands to tens of thousands in peak periods (mainly 9th–11th c.; from Central/Eastern Europe via Volga and Mediterranean routes).
