Ohhh waitttt.
Its JB side they scan every lorry exiting??
Huh??

They want slow down our imports ah?
JB to SG 100 percent check with only 1 scanner.

They also scare we export illegal goods to them so they are scanning SG to JB lorries with 2 scanners. :o

I heard because those officers also wanna holiday and celebrate CNY despite not Chinese.
Unless it's month end and $$$ running low, then you'll see full attendance of officers.
Nothing wrong to want to go for holiday and celebration.

After all, CNY is a public holiday, regardless of race, religion and language.

Their logic power. Can smell they are still very salty. :o

REASON GIVEN
The official said that the 24-hour scanning was being done to check smuggling activities after Singapore caught several cases of smuggled goods, especially cigarettes, coming from Malaysia.

THEIR SOLUTION
The problem? KSAB only has ONE scanner for lorries headed to Singapore. The island republic, on the other hand, has six scanners for lorries entering the country.

It also does not scan lorries leaving the country, while Malaysia has TWO scanners to check arriving lorries.

1 scanner (Malaysia) vs 3 scanner (sg) for checking those entering the country is just right.

I commented without reading fully, only glanced through.
But yes, i understand they open only one lane.

But the point i highlighted also mentioned they now want scan every lorry instead of expedite.
. Ask their transport minister
