hi there,

Went there over the Good Friday weekend. No issue whatsoever. It is not quiet but yet not rowdy. A lot of Caucasians were also in the queue where I was and i guess they did not receive the memo of keeping quiet at the custom. Can hear children crying and all.
Also, I was wearing shorts and slippers. Still got to pass through and spent a pretty great weekend there.

HTHs!

Usually no issue with those tickets, just that the booking procedure may be a bit tedious, and you may not get the slots you want. You can still purchase but make sure the tickets you bought are inclusive of the taxes or not, and go down physically a few days in advance to book the actual tickets/get the boarding passes

We can collect the boarding pass in 1-2 days advance from those forum-sold tickets?
Need to bring the physical passports of all the passengers, or just bring a list of the usual passport details (full name, nric, passport no., citizenship, expiry.. etc) ??

Those online forum sold tickets are just ferry tickets, you need to use these ferry ticket to exchange boarding pass which must collect at ferry counter.

Physical passports are needed when collect the boarding pass.

2 ways from Singapore to go batam, either from harbourfront ferry terminal or tenah merah ferry terminal.

There are 5 ferry terminals in batam.
Batam Centre, Batam
Harbour Bay, Batam
Sekupang, Batam
Nongsapura, Batam
Teluk Senimba (Waterfront City), Batam

from harbourbay ferry terminal to Nagoya hill, cab fare is about NT50,000 to NT55,000

from batam centre ferry terminal to Nagoya hill, cab fare is about NT70,000
travelling to montage resort next week.
We are planning to take the ferry from harbour front ferry terminal to Nongsapura, Batam.
Based on my research, we can only take the ferry from tanah merah ferry terminal, is it true?
Which ferry service to book? And can we book online?
Please advise.
Thank you.

TIA.

Ok, I found the link on their website :

Indonesian Embarkation / Disembarkation Cards at Batam Terminals Submitted : Thu, 09-Apr-2015 14:57

To our Valued Passengers,

ED cards are no longer required by the Batam Immigration effective immediately.

Attached memo is for the public's common reference.

Should there be any further changes, we would keep this post updated.

Thank you,

Batam Fast Ferry Pte Ltd
