I would like to service my watch, what's the recommended procedure?

A little confused as I see AD's offer their own (it seems) servicing.

how was it like?

i'm getting a pre-owned discontinued model.
first thing i wanna do is to send it back to rolex for servicing and polishing.
also wanna send in a vintage model for overhaul for my dad at the same time.
never done it before at rolex service centre

You must make an appointment.

For my model, they mentioned that an evaluation would be provided after the watch is examined, and that the cost for acceptance would be $1,800. This means anything above that amount, they will have to contact me for permission to proceed.

Polishing is optional and comes with an added cost, I opted out for that as it's cheaper elsewhere.
