may i know why this thread was closed??? And worse still it just suddenly got closed by one of the mod without any remarks from the one closing... just sneakily closed my thread without any form of addressing... whats this????

Go read my first post inside properly OK! First of all this incident on the bus is real and secondly I did stated its usually the younger generation that's the trouble maker I even specifically mentioned that the older generation are the friendlier ones! Don't selectively read !

Don't kid yourself - it's clearly evident that it was a bait thread, attracting all the racist elements in. Almost every post in the thread was targeted at Malays/Muslims, starting from the 1st one.

For someone who frequents EDMW and raises feedback in basic membership about matters in the community. I'm sure it's an insult to your intelligence to inform you that threads in EDMW that touches on race/religion more often than not degrades into senseless bashing.

You scolded the person, but did the quality of the thread continue to degrade?

Because you seem to have stopped policing the thread at about 7:38 PM, yesterday.
While the insults/discussions piled on until 8:10 PM where we placed a lock.

Do you know the term implied? When you put ***, it's very clearly evident that you were targeting Malays/Muslims. Those who have been in this forum long enough would know this.

You must be delusional! Why would I feed my ego in a public forum where I only know the nicks of the mods & nothing else - heck I don't even know any of them personally!

I call a spade a spade - if a thread where most of the posts are racist in nature, then it should be closed & those who made the racist posts infracted.

I was the one who locked it because it was derailing and members were giving examples of vulgarities and insults in the different language.

And, seriously TS, if your intention wasn't to stir, the word "***" wouldn't be in the title. You can argue all you want but we felt the thread was more detrimental than of substance in nature.
