Thunderbolt to HDMI query

Hi guys,

have anyone manage to connect their external thunderbolt enclosure to the TV directly?

Hoping for some advice regarding this.

Currently i have an external connected via TB to the Mac. But i also wish to have the 2nd TB port on the external to connect to the TV via USB. Theoretically it should work right?=:p
