TimeMachine Vs CCC Vs others

hi all,
i use timemachine for backup currently. However, it consumes too much space with the whole system backup. I would prefer something like ccc, where we can selectively backup folders. But CCC is kinda expensive at 53 sgd. Know of any Free software or cheaper options?

I think time machine can exclude folders you don't need. So you can exclude all folders except the ones you need.
