Toshiba Transmemory Lost Password

Hi All,

Forgot my Toshiba Transmemory password (the password protected model) as the last time I used it was ages ago.
There are some precious memmory stored in there and I am trying to retrieve it.
The only way for me to have access back to the pen drive is to reformat it due to the password.

My question, I know normal pen drive, after reformatting I can use recovery software to retrieve most of my data.
In that case as this is a password protected, will the firmware be smart enough to 0 wipe the memory?

If not, I think I can go ahead and reformat and retrieve the stuffs using software.
If the firmware does wipe out the memory, is there any other way I can get help to recover the pen drive password?

Check with Toshiba better. Only their engineers know its internal design and whether there is any loophole or recovery method to bypass or reset the password.

Theoretically, if the design is correct and secure, the data is encrypted and lost forever unless your have the password. Which is exactly what it is designed for: to keep out people without the password.
