When one is eligible to claim, probably needa spend the rest of his/her life in nursing home, relying on ppl to take care of ADL. What's the point then?

When one is eligible to claim, probably needa spend the rest of his/her life in nursing home, relying on ppl to take care of ADL. What's the point then?

Its all about Not burdening your dependents, which require time, money resources to take care of you if you have TPD.

Imagine you are bedridden from now. Example 40 years.

How much to pay a maid, etc etc for TPD?
Or nursing home?

In short, to take care of you (hopefully you recover), and to protect your dependents for their basic needs.

Sadly euthanasia cannot be practised in Singapore.

I just tag it to my death insurance.

TPD will only payout if the doctor certifies that one's condition is irreversible.

So no hope for recovery.
