TPG Mobile SMS

I am using Xiaomi Redmi7a and have the TPG 4G voice call application installed. I can make/receive calls to landlines/mobile lines but unable to find a way to send/receive SMSes. Can someone please assist?

Actually Redmi 7A should support VoLTE natively.

At your phone native dailer type this:
*#*#volte#*#*
*#*#86583#*#*

After that go to APN create a new APN:
Name: ims
APN: ims
APN Type: ims,ia

After that you can go to the
Settings->"SIM cards and Mobile Network"

Switch on the VoLTE and it should natively support VoLTE.

The phone may, but TPG VoLTE may not support that specific model. So better to check TPG site for the list of phone which they have certified.

There should be a default messages app in android.

I faced the same problem.
Managed to call TPG 6920 0000

Go to apps,
Message, storage, clear data n cache.
Wait awhile, try sending sms.

It worked for me

Uh VoWiFi not really.
I can't get VoWiFi to work on any of the four carriers, for multiple XM smartphones.
VoLTE, yes, for all 4 networks.

I m using VoWIFI on my Mi 10 ultra using TPG SIM.

Vowifi is working on my Mi Note 9s as well.
