This review was written, when I just bought a computer from them.

I needed the computer for work, and visited them on the 16/10/14 to proceed to buying my computer. Was promised by Raman, that I would get my computer by next week because of the parts that was missing. I understood that, and proceeded with the payment.

The whole of next week came and passed without any updates whatsoever, I had to call and check the progress for myself several times.

A call finally came after a week and was informed that my computer was built and was missing 4 x 8GB of ram as the distributor miscommunicated their order.

I told them it was fine as long as I could get my computer to start working. However, they wanted me to go back to the shop to collect my ram.

Sim Lim Square is out of the way for me, and as a customer, I demanded that this isn't my fault at all and requested for my item to be delivered.

After being told no at first, and negotiating, I was able to get them to deliver.

Delivery was the next day, and I was being told by Raman, that the delivery would be at 12pm and would be ON TIME.

Called them several times and they told me that the delivery guy would give me a call when he have reached. Also requested for an honest timing they could meet, and said he would check and call me back.

These happen several times and they DID NOT call me back even once.

1pm, I called, and was told that the computer drivers are still being installed. Asked for an honest timing again and said he would call me back again as he is still installing the drivers and is not sure when.

1.30pm, he calls back (finally) and told me he would deliver now.
Mentioned that my mechanical keyboard I ordered only had blue when I clearly ordered cherry red from them.

Called again, at 1.40pm, and asked about my keyboard.
Managed to get hold of the cherry red keyboard, and wasn't informed until I called.

While they're known for their low prices, the service there was extremely horrible.
Please reconsider when purchasing from them.

Guess u are quite newbie in terms of getting ur computer parts at SLS. Let me say my piece here.

1) You could have get your stuffs elsewhere like PC Themes, Fuwell or Infinity Computers. They most likely have ex-stock. You see, getting the cheapest yet u don't know nuts how they work. You are most likely at the losing end.

2) I've been a regular at SLS. Never in my life i will ask them to deliver my "DIY" computer to my house. Why? The problem that you are facing right now.. Because you already paid them and you are at their mercy, who knows whether they give you a refurbished parts or what?

Now, consider the cheap price they gave you, what kind of service do you expect?

Maybe another good example, Samsung/HTC/Sony Ericsson phones require you to send in for repair while for iPhone, they on the spot exchange 1-1 to you. But the difference in price for the phone is quite a big difference.

Agreed. Yes, I'm pretty much a newbie when building computers and did not come to think of these pointers you pointed out.

The computer came in about 2.30pm, with wiring properly done.
Surprisingly.

Haven't got a chance to check if there are any missing pieces (screws, warranty cards, etc.) because I had to rush elsewhere.
