seriously, when you go to tradepac to buy a motherboard + cpu, with or without further discount, chances are they are offering the cheapest bundle price still... just grab it from Tradepac. Make sure it's only AsRock, Gigabyte, Asus or EliteGroup(ECS) brand, when you encounter problem, go to the distro instead of the shop.

If you think going to distro or troubleshooting yourself is too much, then go get a Asus/Dell PC.

Even for single item? I don't think they give lower prices if you buy the mobo (without CPU), but they seem to be fine with giving lower prices for hdds and other peripherals (dunno about GPUs, since I don't have life left to game).

talking abt HDD....I bought a Seagate HDD 1TB from them previously.
price stated $74....then bill typed out is $72....tot the chap give me discount.
hand him my atm card....then after transaction, he look at the bill again and informed me there is an error....ask me to top up $2 in cash.
dun wan make a fuss, so give him $2 cash.

I DIY and have RMAed before. Gigabyte is only a few MRT stations away for me, but no suitable models left. Even got run to Convergent b4 to RMA Corsair RAM sticks.

Targetting a Z77 board. Only ones left pricelists of PCThemes and Tradepac are Biostar (Z68), MSI (MPower & G65), Asrock (Extreme4 but reputed thin PCB). Corbell's service that bad that MSI is not on the list...?

Msi z77 already pulled out from shelves already. No longer restocks. Those that are left is either trying to clear it.

Yilong claims he is getting new stock...

I see no point in stocking up on old mobo since most newbies into DIY will not get old mobo due to recommendations and mentality that new is better.

So, its either Yi Long has a somewhat different business plan or he maybe smoking you(?).
