First one was epic.

Peninsular was epic fail.

The only common ground was korean zombies.

<Alive> is better

First one is more exciting, the second one I find everything is too easy.

I was kinda disappointed by this film and was worried going into it because of the high bar set by the first movie. I think one problem was that it played more like a Hollywood action flick than a horror movie. Where the first movie had many tense zombie encounters, the sequences in the sequel just weren't as nerve wrecking. The sequel also tried to play up on the feels but they didn't really feel earned, unlike the original.

Purely based on feels and emotions, I would say the first! It kept me on edge throughout the movie and my heart was beating for the people. The second one, I wouldn't say it was bad, it was just different. It's like zombies x fast and furious. The thing I liked about it was that it included different elements, other than just zombies like the first one. However, the focus on those elements kind of took away the focus of the main issue. It was still enjoyable though, the new characters are pretty interesting.
