Ok. So I am currently in scs foundation term. So I was wondering if I have a chance of getting into the above vocation.

Circumstances are that previously I was ooc from bmt and they gave me a chance to be a driver for 4 months, allowing me to clock in 4000+ km. So I do have the military license. Also, I ord in March next year.

I was also wondering what job does the transport supervisor have. Can he drive oso? And Bro's here can kindly enlighten me? Haha

of course got chance, just like you got chance for almost every other vocation. if you want higher chance then better highlight your interest early.

transport supervisor's main job is to detail the driver. rarely will he be driving himself.

he also needs to ensure that the vehicles are sent for servicing on time.

Thing may have change but if I am not wrong, the answer is no. Foundation term train you to be basic section leader. After that, they will send you to specialist vocation course aka Professional Term that require SCT to pass out from Foundation term. After Combined Arms Term, you will be 3SG with allowance.

Service specialist like Transport Supervisor just go for their specialist vocation course & OJT until Combined Arms Term. However after Combined Arms Term, they maybe allow to wear 3SG but still holding LCP/CPL allowance until they clock certain months of service to be promoted to 3SG (& pass their IPPT too).

As a Transport Supervisor, you are to plan your drivers for detail. Unless you cannot get a driver, then you may needs to drive which is very unlikely because your Senior Transport Supervisor & Transport Officer will ask you to arrow driver for detail. This mean it may be hard for you as transport supervisor to clock remaining 3000+km to get your driving licence.

Wah sian lah like that. Was really hoping to get into something I was familiar with. Do Bro's know of any vocations that I will be eligible for considering my shorter time left till ord?

basically you are eligible for every single vocation cos most vocation spec course is only 3 months. only armour is 6 months. all well within your ORD date but i am guessing armour is unlikely due to the amount of post course time you have left.
