Transportation in Japan

Hi guys, it's my first time going Japan. Currently SIA having 2 timings for SIN>KIX

09:05 Arrival or 21:35 Arrival. My intended destination is Kyoto.

If i'm taking the flight which arrives Kansai @ 2135, will I be able to catch the last train to Kyoto?

21:35 a bit risky. coz still need to factor in time to clear customs
the last direct train from kix to kyoto is at 22:16, and it is unlikely that u will in time after clearing customs. there are still indirect train, requiring at least a transfer in osaka. it may be after midnight by the time u reach kyoto. and depending on where ur accom is, u may still need to take another train or bus, which may not be avail by that time

suggest u take the 9:05 flight so u dun have to worry about missing last train. or stay a night near the airport or in osaka

KIX hotel is quite reasonably priced and includes breakfast also iirc.

not forgetting its your first time in Japan, most first timer get bewildered by the Japanese rail system. Better to take the red eye flight out of SG
