Just want to check...

I bought travel insurance for a trip, but got my return date wrong (short one day). contemplating whether want to inform insurance coy to amend the date or not. What are possible implications?

i.e. if item loss midway through trip, or need to claim medical cost, can still claim even though the return date is different from actual return date?

write/call up the insurance company to notify them, if your trip is not far away it'll be faster to get through by calling

When you make claims, they will need you to support the claims with either full flight itinerary, boarding passes or passport stamps.

Cannot short change coverage just cos you are flying overnight, 5mins to the next day etc etc. Don't think you can get away by paying cheaper premiums. They have every reason to nullify your policy.

Inform them. You might not even need to add for the additional day de coverage cause most insurer covers a few days for a certain price
