Samsung is already working on thinner Galaxy Z Trifold 2 and a new Slidable phone, claims tipster

According to Korean tipster yeux1122, work is already underway on a follow-up, likely to be called the Galaxy Z TriFold 2. It’s said to be in early prototyping, with a big focus on improving the hinge. Apparently, most of the verification work on the new hinge design is already done, which could help make the next version noticeably thinner and lighter.

Samsung may have a major upgrade for the TriFold 2. The device may feature a new lighter and thinner hinge, though the source says the device itself could be thicker than the original and the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

If that rumor is a true representation of Samsung’s current plans, it could mean that the company sees a commercial potential in the trifoldable concept. Earlier rumors claimed that the Galaxy Z TriFold was a one-off experiment for the company, and there were no plans for a sequel. However, a redesigned version that’s less complicated to manufacture could make it a profitable idea for Samsung. It could also help it compete with the Huawei Mate XT, Mate XTs, and any future trifoldables from the Chinese company.

If you don't want to use the S-Pen after unfolding then what? Leave it on the screen or keep it inside the shirt pocket?

I said after unfolding. And if you keep taking out and sliding in the S-Pen it'll sure to scratch the screen

Also, since the S-Pen is not the full length as the height of the phone there'll be an opening on the other side. Dust/dirt will get into this opening and defeats the IP protection
