[Help]New rig/Upgrade?

Hi all, so my desktop jus died, the startup screen has purple lines and squares all over it and b4 death, my screen and videos on YouTube having all sorts of sorts of problems. So I think it's a video card problem, how to check?

Remove your MSI 1GB R6870 and use Intel IGP. If works fine, confirm your MSI 1GB R6870 is gone liao.

ok I did what you said and ya, my R6870 gone liao.

I was looking at http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/hardware-clinic-2/graphics-card-buy-y2015-1233319-331.html and
I think I'm going for the sapphire after comparing the 3 in that price point.
My question is can my CPU/Power handle it? If it cant, can someone suggests what upgrades i should do?

Single GPU should be fine unless your PSU is older than 5 years.
