Ultra lightweight laptop recommendations

Hi there,

I’m looking for ultra lightweight laptop for secondary student. No need powerful laptop (google sheets/gmail mostly), no need large HD or good graphics or processor. Cannot be tablet (ipad).

Criteria:
1) Must be ultra light (<1KG)
2) Durable (drop)
3) After sales repair / Warranty

I saw the LG Gram 14 (impressive, larger screen, right now about $1.6k) and then Fujitsu (super light, i thought it was a toy demo set), and Asus.

Any recommendations?
How is the LG Gram? I read from the forums here so far no issues?

nowadays challenger offers the hp pavillion aero 13, if u got valueclub can buy base model 5600u + 8gb ram + 256gb ssd for 1k, regular retail usually about 1.2-1.3. just under 1kg, 950g if i rmb correctly. also have 1 year onsite warranty.

Buy LG Gram..................ultra lightweight..............using the LG Gram 17 10th Gen.

LG Gram is good. The 16 and 17 inch models are better due to the 1440P resolution. 14-inch is alright

HP Aero (13" 970g)

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon (14" 966g),

Thinkpad X1 Nano (13" 940g)

I believe there are 3 Fujitsu models also. I tried the UH-X and felt it was pretty good - business class laptops with excellent build.

Unfortunately for Apple, other than their out of production MacBook, the current M1/M2 powered laptops are about 1.27kg.

for 14" this is Even lighter than my Acer lap but the Price is Wow!!!!!!
