Hi guys
So literally just yesterday i started experiencing difficulties accessing hotmail.com specifically (all other websites work just fine) and i have no idea why. Chrome gave me a "connection interrupted" error. Both internet explorer and firefox gave me the same error too.
Did a system scan with both bitdefender 2014 and malwarebytes and nothing suspicious came up.
Computer specs:
Aftershock XG17/V1
Windows 8.1
8GB RAM
GTX765M
128GB SSD
750GB HDD
Main browser: Chrome
What I've already tried:
>Connecting to another network
>Changing computer MAC
>Resetting network settings
>Clearing cookies and cache of all browsers
>Disabling firewall to see if it blocked hotmail
>Going to C:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc/hosts to check if it has been tempered with
Basically nothing worked.
Other devices in the house are able to connect to hotmail.com so i know it's not an issue with the router and it's mainly to do with my machine. I haven't installed anything new except f.lux.
Help!!
