Unable to Access Old HDD

My previous HDD which contains my old OS had some issues, therefore I installed a new SSD with refresh copy of Vista. However when I try to access my old documents, I am being denied access.

Anyone can advise how I can bypass this?

See if Device Manager got detect the HDD. Check all connections.

run hdtune to check on the old hdd first..

TS is not having a bad hdd. Just access issues. Had this problem previously when moving hdd from one com to another. Right click on your hdd sub folders and enable access writes to everyone.

Have to keep doing till u can access all
