Unable to attend Admin Support Assistant(ASA) Test

Hi i am going to ORD in 3 weeks time and i was recently down pes to C9L9 perm due to health issues. Currently i am undergoing surgery and i will not be going to camp until i ORD date. I received a call from my battalion telling me that i am required to take an ASA test (not knowing that i will be on MC). This means that i am likely to miss this test as i will be resting at home due to a legitimate issue. However, the administration is "suggesting" me to come back to camp during my MC period as this is the only time i can take the test before i ORD. They did not really specify what if i were to miss the test itself, but they said that this test is to cement my place in an ASA vocation(but i know that NS reservice ASA is kinda tough job).

Anyone knows what will happen if i were to miss the test completely?

1) Do you needs to be a trained ASA in order to be an ASA? The answer is no.

2) If you are a trained ASA, will you still get a chance of re-vocation during your NS period (10 cycle ICT or up to 40 year old)? The answer is yes.

3) Going to ORD in 3 weeks time still cannot think make me wonder what have happen to the next generation(s) of NSF after I have ORD?

You sure have pride optimism with the local NSF force and the way commanders lead men, based on your last statement.

Well, im not posted as an ASA because im so close to ORD, but its a vocation that i was put into while im waiting to ORD in a combat vocation. So im not familiar to the way the ASA vocation runs and its requirement to become one.

The reason why I i cant decide is to because im not sure is it worth going back to camp for the test if its required for me while im supposed to be resting from my surgery, and the consequence if i miss the test if i decide to rest.

1) I do not know if I meet the black sheep NSF or now the standard of NSF have drop from bad to worst every year I go back to ICT.

2) Do you want to revocate to ASA or remain in your combat vocation that will be stated in your COS?

3) If yes to point 2, I can tell you that it is up to your unit if they want to revocate you to ASA now even if you do not attend the course. Just that when you attend the course, it is the School who will do the admin work to revocate you instead of your unit. So the choice is up to you. If I want to be an ASA, I will go for the test!

aiya... since your unit don't know that you will be on MC, why don't you call your unit and remind them that you are on MC during that period.

then see what they want you to do.

if your unit die die want you to take the test, they have 101 ways to force you to. like force you to come back to endorse your MC.

I heard for my unit, ASA won't even get called up for reservice

there has been instances of ASA being called up for reservice, but very rare.

Still have,but not as frequently as combatants and also depends on how much manpower the unit needs.

nowadays manpower dropping sinkies not giving birth.. my unit got a few pes E ppl kena recall.. so no matter wat voc sure will kena 1 just see u heng / suay
