I understand that usually saf will supply understudy for appointment holder nsf usually 3-6 months before they ord but is there a case where the ord personnel ord before the understudy arrives?
Lately my cousin who is a cqms at tekong say he ord in August but as of now no understudy will be arriving at any point of time. He went to s4 branch to request but they say likely this time, nsf will ord before their understudy arrives due to the low birth rate in Singapore. I find this highly deceiving. How can an organization not find one bloody understudy for a simple job role.
My time I had to request from s4 branch 5 months prior to my ord date and he came exactly a week later. And now my cousin say they are minimizing all the logistics, asa and manpower nsf. Usually 1 coy got 1cq, 2-4 storeman (maybe more my time was 8), 1 armskote ic (can be 3sg or men) and at least 2 asa minimum.
Now, 1cq, 1 storeman, 1 armskote and 1 asa. And they expect these 4 people to do duty at the same time too.
Anyone cAn give an input?
