Hi, I'm asking on behalf of a friend. She's a poly student year 3 at np studying mass communication. Her GPA as of now is 3.3 and she roughly a estimate after this semester, her GPA will betweem 3.3 to 3.5 she plans to study in a uni next year. Her options for big 3 are not so good cause most of them require GPA 3.5 minimum. So she plans to choose between sit, sutd or suss. Out of the 3 uni she listed, which school in terms or recognition, fees and job prospects for employers to look at would be ideal? If she can make it higher, of course she would pick the big 3 but this is sorta like a back up plan. She says sit got some local and DL degree that might not be recognized, same for sutd and suss. Please give her some suggestions

It is hard to give any advice when we don't know what she would like to do in the future. What's her passion? What does she see herself doing? Is hall/ hostel life important to her?

Based on the three, only SUTD has accommodations for students. Not too sure about their hostel life.

If she likes health sciences, definitely choose SIT.

If up for a challenge in technology and IT related programs, SUTD. (FYI SUTD isn't that easy to enter)

No advice for SUSS. Maybe consider their early childhood education programme or business analytics programme.

Each institutions have their own strengths and flaws. Know what she wants to pursue first before narrowing on the institutions.

I think SUSS will be the best option for her because both SUTD and SIT are schools that focus on Engineering and Technology.

SUTD isn't as easy as u think it is.

It is on the same, or even higher ranking than the big 3 universities.

You most probably will be rejected from sit based on 3.3+ too to be honest, unless you have an exceptional cca achievement.

3.3 for suss full-time , depends on the course, but certain popular courses do reject as well.
