It is stated in Unisim website that their maths degree is not recognised by the MOE to be a teacher.
"The mathematics degree programme does not qualify you as an MOE school teacher but focuses on mathematical content which develops a rich and fascinating skill set that is widely applicable."

May I know is it only NUS/NTU Maths degree allows one to qualify as a teacher upon graduation?

Even with a maths degree from local uni, they still need to take a one year post-graduate diploma in education from NIE before becoming a teacher. So the question boils down to whether unisim degrees are accepted by NIE for admission. For this, you should ask NIE instead.
