Unresponsive key on Razer Blackwidow

I have a Razer blackwidow mechanical keyboard. The W key is at times unresponsive and I have to press several times for it to register. No more warranty on the keyboard. It would be a real waste to replace the whole keyboard just coz of 1 key. Can that key just be replaced ?

Yup, desolder the switch and solder on a new one. I've replaced 6 switches on my BW Ultimate. The LED has to be desoldered first.

My KB uses Cherry MX Browns and I replaced with Gateron Browns from Massdrop.

If you just need one, it is cheaper to buy from ebay.

taobao also sell cherry mx switches... just get the amount u need :)

Before you do anything, head straight to Sim Lim Tower and get a can of contact cleaner. It's cheap. Get mine for less than $5. Spray and exercise the contact.
