That is the world we live in. At least that is what I think, after reading global news. Ebola, Hong Kong protests, ISIS terrorism and slavery, girls and women kidnapped in Nigeria....

All very scary stuff. Can all this happen closer to home? I hope not but I don't think Singapore is immune to all this either.

Just some sombre reflections on a Wednesday.
