My old Asus F82Q is using a SATA hdd, if i buy a SATAIII HDD, will it be able to use it still?

Yes. SATA III is backward compatible. But sometimes the newer AF (advance format) may render some proprietary drivers not workable. As far as we remember, it should not have any issues with Asus F82Q.

So you should be able to safely do your upgrades. :)
