My current setup is i7-3770, 256gb ssd, Seasonic 650w, Dell U2713HM and GTX 650. I use this rig mainly for editing photos (Lightroom) and video (Adobe Premiere). Seldom game. I know I can stay with GTX 650 based on my usage but backside a bit itchy recently after 3 years of inactivity :s13:

Any recommendations? TIA :D

Thanks bro. 960 should suffice my needs. I using Dell U2713HM. Budget can stretch to $500. I know I don't need a high end card but just want to hear from experts here :D
You should wait for another possible flash sale of GTX 950, which was going for $206 (after discount) on Lazada just 3 days back. 15% slower but 33% cheaper than GTX 960.

Just 2 quick questions.

1. Will a higher end graphics card help in editing photos and videos?

2. Just to add I currently have 16gb ddr3 Kingston ram. Forget the exact specs but they are not the fanciful ones. Will I see performance improvement if I go 32gb? Thanks!

TS to be honest, I don't think you are going to experience much improvements if any from a GTX650 to a GTX950/960, considering you are just doing editing of videos and photos and not gaming.

Those are mostly CPU intensive tasks, even if they start to offload a little to the GPU.

Just stay on the latest drivers and you should be fine.

16GB of RAM should be sufficient if you don't really go crazy with your multi tasking/video editing all at once.

This, the gtx 950 is awesome for this price. I hand itchy go and purchase this card and quite surprised with the performance. Stock for stock around 40% faster then 750ti according to benchmarks on the web. The card over clocks like mad too, my graphics score on 3d mark reached > 7000 after overclock. I know its not a monster score, but brings the OCed 950 close to the 960.

Anyone wants to take it off my hands?
