Upgrading new PSU

I'm looking to upgrade my psu recently, then pass my current psu to my parents pc. May I know which psu currently in the mkt is best value for money? best if it is modular, easier to do cable mgt.

oops... budget ard $150 or lesser. right now me is 500w, maybe slightly higher so that next time upgrade no worries.
